I wasn’t especially artistic as a child and I never would have thought that I would be an artist someday. That’s why I believe that “talent” can be learned and isn’t necessarily inborn. Those who are born with talent have a head start, the rest of us have to work a little harder, that’s all. I believe we all have some artistic and creative abilities within us. Search for yours! When you find a creative path you love, follow it and don’t give up. We all have an amazing capacity to learn. Failures and mess-ups are part of that process, embrace them as an opportunity to improve with every endeavor. To this day, I still learn something new with every painting that I complete. The learning never ends.
